Introduction to here

How exciting, my first post. I have created this blog to share with the internet collective some of my thoughts, troubles, findings and results as I create new algorithms to be unleashed upon the market. I will be using very basic, from "scratch," techniques with three programs. I have access to Reuters, X-Trader, and Power-plus Pro, using an additional tool that links the excel variant with X-Trader. Nothing fancy here.

The posts will focus on two main components. Firstly, I will describe elements of theory about the market, its interconnectedness and its form. Secondly, I will post results of my work, and describe with some vagueness the methodology I employed. I anticipate more focus on the former, since I am currently very busy and the latter usually takes a good amount of work and time.

I look forward to sharing these thoughts and hearing from you, anonymous friends, because I believe there is something to be gained by increasing awareness of these techniques. See you next time.
